Over a year-long effort to renew the Maison’s web design, AKQA took the design lead to define the layout together with the Loro Piana digital team. New brand images are also applied with Silhouette functions on the Lookbook. Triple lines from the packaging is always evident on the header adding further emphasis on the material and touch oriented brand. New fonts Times Now and Optima are introduced as part of the renovation. The new look and feel is modern and yet does not follow the trend of other luxury brand with sleek and bold brand visual strategy. Loro Piana maintain the strategy creating their own market.
My role on this project was brand alignment making sure the website does not lose its important identity all over the region specially in the Asian market. The Holiday Collection 2023 as always is the most important on and offline sales period which was implemented together with the launch of the website. Gifting Experiences are enhanced with extra Carousel on the Product Listing Page.
