Swiss-Japanese graphic artist's life long website
Aoi Huber Kono
Art direction and web design for a Swiss-Japanese graphic artist Aoi Huber Kono whose work represents over 60 years of commissioned, self-initiated and collaborations. Her collaborations have been archived with many renowned graphic designers and designer namely her father Takashi Kono, Gan Hosoya, her husband Max Huber, Bruno Mari, Achille Castiglioni and lists goes on. Already in her 80s, she continues to work actively from her home in Novazzano, South of Switzerland. Her artistic work varies from water-colour and oil paintings, pencil drawings, silkscreen and etching. Ikko Tanaka editorial designed Approach magazine covers are a life-long collaboration with Takenaka Corporation, an architectural engineering company, with Aoi’s unique and colourful pattern making.
